The 8660 is powered by Hutchins’ air-efficient motor and Positive-Action Drive, supported by a 4-bearing system and oversized drive head that keep the pad in full, steady contact. That means faster feathering, leveling, and detailing with smooth control — and dust captured at the source.
Like all random orbitals in the 4500-family, the 8660 is engineered with ultra-low vibration. Its sturdy aluminum body and flex-cover grip help reduce strain, while the optional #1839-1 handle further dampens vibration transfer and adds control. - Our Water Sanders are equipped with a Patented "Thru-the-Pad" distribution system that enables a steady, regular flow of water to your surface. Most Models are equipped with a filtered 'water bell' that can be dropped into any source of clean water (like a 5-gallon bucket).
